Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is properly managed
  • Hire and manage food service staff to meet our business needs
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at A&W, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership to staff
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
