About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Alumax Panel Inc. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of metal cladding projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Track Projects: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion and coordination with construction crews, architects, and clients.
  • Control Project Budget: Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring adherence to budget and financial targets.
  • Plan and Control Project Schedule: Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Plan and issue purchase orders for materials required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing consultation and assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Site Visits and Progress Reports: Regularly visit project sites, monitoring progress and identifying potential issues, and provide regular progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Trade Management: Establish and maintain relationships with trades and installation crews, ensuring smooth project execution and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all safety documents are in place, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on metal cladding systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cladding and rain screen systems, Ontario Building Codes, and construction building plans.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, trades, and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in fast-paced environments.
