About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Super 8. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a variety of cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Dusting and Polishing Furniture: Dust and polish all furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness and shine.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning Carpets and Rugs: Vacuum and clean all carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make all beds and manage linen supplies to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Stocking and Cleaning Linen Closets: Stock and clean linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of clean linens.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting Fixtures and Appliances: Clean and disinfect all kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Disinfecting Operating Rooms and Other Areas: Disinfect all operating rooms and other areas to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting Elevators: Clean and disinfect all elevators to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handling Lost and Found Items: Handle and report all lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Providing Guest Services: Provide basic information on facilities and amenities to our guests, and assist with any requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Picking Up Debris and Emptying Trash Containers: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Assisting with Guest Hygiene: Assist guests with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, as needed.
  • Mending Clothing and Linens: Mend clothing and linens to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Performing Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Washing Windows, Walls, and Ceilings: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a high level of cleanliness and shine.

Experience
  • Length of Employment: 1 to less than 7 months.
