We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2583880 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our restaurant management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key business metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a food service establishment is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work is required.

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
