Job Summary

Xpera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accident Benefits Adjuster to join our team. As an Accident Benefits Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling Accident Benefit and minor BI task claims. You will work closely with clients and third parties to collect information and evidence relevant to the loss, and evaluate and analyze various medical and non-medical documents to process claims within proper guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and negotiate Accident Benefit and minor BI task claims
  • Collect all information and evidence relevant to the loss
  • Evaluate and analyze various medical and non-medical documents to process claims within proper guidelines
  • Negotiate with policy holders and third parties and direct and instruct outside vendors
  • Provide high level of customer service to clients and the insured

Requirements

  • 2-3 years minimum experience in Accident Benefits
  • Adjuster's license, or currently pursuing CIP designation
  • Access to an appropriate vehicle
  • Full driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause and effect dynamics
  • Good investigative manner
  • Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them
  • Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive)
