Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kaipings Restaurant.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The position requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours:The position is temporary, with 40 hours per week.
