About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at NORTHCON CORP. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets and finishing them to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners by installing metal corner beads.
  • Filling and Smoothing: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, and smooth out excess compound.
  • Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
