Job Summary:

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist to join our team at the Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, conduct research, and teach the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-patient and out-patient care to children with malignant and hematologic disorders
  • Conduct research in pediatric hematology and oncology, with opportunities for collaboration with basic and clinical researchers
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric hematology and oncology
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
  • Certification (or eligibility) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology or equivalent
  • Experience in pediatric hematology and oncology, with a strong clinical and research background
