Job Summary

CancerCare Manitoba is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology and a strong interest in managing pediatric brain tumors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality in-patient and out-patient care to pediatric hematology-oncology patients
  • Participate in Brain Tumor Rounds and manage neuro-oncology patients on targeted therapies
  • Develop and lead the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology program at CancerCare Manitoba and the Winnipeg Children's Hospital
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials, including multi-institution trials and investigator-initiated trials
Requirements
  • Eligibility for registration and independent medical practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba as a subspecialist Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist
  • Certification (or eligibility, or SEAP examination equivalency) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatric Hematology Oncology
  • Additional training and experience in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology
