Job Summary

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Apprentice Glazier to join our team. As an Apprentice Glazier, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and function
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
  • Assist in the assembly, erection, and dismantling of scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in the glazing industry
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
