We are currently seeking an Operations/Inventory Coordinator for our Saskatoon facility. This role encompasses responsibilities related to procurement, inventory oversight, and the logistical coordination of goods movement. The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in a comparable role and demonstrate professionalism while interacting with a diverse range of individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Generate purchase orders for both raw materials and finished goods.
- Prioritize and expedite order processing.
- Oversee the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Track Syteline purchase order statuses and address discrepancies with the appropriate departments.
- Ensure that invoices are submitted to Accounts Payable for payment following receipt of payment.
- Handle claims for products that do not meet quality standards.
- Maintain work instructions and process mapping as required for improvement and alignment initiatives.
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Some post-secondary education in customs or export regulations.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Import/Export operations.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with ERP software (Syteline) is an advantage.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Customer service oriented.
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to perform well under pressure.
