Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at CareCorp Senior Services. Our company provides superior healthcare, food, and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to residents, performing assessments, and administering medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and a strong background in Dementia care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications as prescribed
  • Directly supervise care staff to meet resident needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with BC College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
