Job Summary:

The Dental Assistant - Clinical Operations will provide administrative and technical support to the dental team in a clinic setting. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies, as well as managing inventory and completing medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists, dental surgeons, and dental hygienists in the performance of their duties
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, including sterilization
  • Manage inventory and complete medical records
  • Provide administrative support to the dental team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Completion of the in-house certificate in Dental Technical Assistance
  • Knowledge of health services and dental clinic operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Language:

Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Cree and French is an asset.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a clinic setting and may be required to travel to other communities as needed.
