Our team, consisting of Planners, Engineers, and Contract Administrators, is focused on providing infrastructure solutions that contribute to economic development and social well-being. We ensure a positive client experience throughout all phases of a project, from initial concept and design to final construction.
The national HI group is made up of skilled engineers, technicians, and support staff with varied expertise in design and construction. This team is dedicated to delivering high-quality technical work and superior customer service, earning a distinguished reputation through the successful execution of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring quality and technical review of all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage multiple design and construction projects, including scheduling, reporting, and the submission of project deliverables.
- Track project finances and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare purchase order requests, work plans, invoices, and sub-consultant agreements.
- Adhere to established document control processes.
- Engage in effective communication with clients, contractors, and subcontractors through both verbal and written channels.
- Post-secondary education in civil engineering.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in leading large municipal projects, including site development, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and/or watermain construction.
- P.Eng designation is required; PMP certification is an asset.
- Proven experience in design and project coordination.
- Proficiency in CAD software is essential.
- Familiarity with scheduling software, specifically MS Project, is required.
