About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at Chimera Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of buildings, from foundations to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
    • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Construction
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
    • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Project Management
    • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
    • Survey building locations and levels
Requirements
