Auto Body Repairer Position

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repairer to join our team at Progressive Auto Repair Inc. If you have experience in repairing and maintaining auto body components and are looking for a permanent position, we want to hear from you.

  • Work Term: Full-time
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain a safe and organized workspace
  • Replace various auto body components, including hoods, doors, and trunks
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish
  • Hammer out dents and defects, using a combination of techniques and tools
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using high-quality materials and equipment
  • Repair or replace interior and exterior components, including seats, dashboards, and bumpers
Requirements
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • Certified International Trade Professional (C.I.T.P.) through FITT
  • Experience in working with body components, frame straightening, welding, and more
Work Environment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel, as well as stand for extended periods
