Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team at Progressive Auto Repair Inc. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and replace damaged body panels, frames, and other vehicle components
  • Use various tools and equipment, such as sanders, grinders, and welders, to repair and restore vehicle bodies
  • Apply primers and paints to restore vehicle finishes
  • Repair or replace interior components, such as seats, carpets, and trim
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Red Seal Endorsement
  • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • International Personnel Certification (IPC)
  • Certified International Trade Professional (C.I.T.P.) through the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT)
Work Environment

As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines and complete projects.

Education and Experience
