Job Summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating passenger and light truck tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, balance, and rotate passenger and light truck tires and wheels
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
  • Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule
  • Perform specialty tire work, including studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a team environment where hard work, clear communication, and a safe attitude are valued
  • Consistent lifting of weights up to 55lbs is required
  • Work in a dynamic environment with unpredictable conditions, including physical demands and varying weather conditions
  • Stand, crouch, or kneel for nearly the entire workday

Requirements:

  • Experience in the tire industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • A valid driver's license is required, and a satisfactory driver's abstract must be provided
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential
