Position Overview

The Head Shipper plays a crucial role in overseeing the logistics and shipping operations within our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment

This role is primarily based in a warehouse setting, where the Head Shipper will manage daily shipping activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on shipping activities.
  • Ensure the effective operation of all computer systems and machinery related to shipping.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair work for shipping equipment.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges, providing technical guidance and suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Assign, review, and oversee the work of shipping staff.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for shipping operations.
  • Maintain and organize inventory effectively.
  • Establish and manage work schedules and procedures for shipping tasks.
  • Plan and oversee the logistical operations of the shipping department.
