Job Overview

In light of our strategic expansion, we are actively seeking a Civil Engineering Project Specialist. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our Civil Engineering Team and demonstrate the capability to engage effectively with both senior and junior personnel within our urban development Land Engineering division. Key responsibilities encompass project management, client and municipal engagement, and the execution of engineering designs and assessments.

As part of our Design & Engineering teams, you will contribute to the creation of some of the most significant and innovative structures and environments that reshape our surroundings, enhancing travel experiences and establishing communal spaces that foster connection.

This position is situated within our global business sector, Places. The design and management of these spaces significantly influence the quality of life for communities. Whether it involves residential areas, commercial establishments, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, or industrial sites, the well-being of people and communities is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage as a technical team member on various project assignments, including research, data compilation, and evaluation.
  • Draft technical documentation such as Functional Servicing Reports and Stormwater Management reports.
  • Conduct design calculations for Storm, Sanitary, and Water systems.
  • Coordinate with GEC to ensure deliverables are met, with occasional CAD tasks.
  • Participate in site visits for data gathering and observation.
  • Fulfill additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P. Eng status or eligibility for registration with the relevant engineering body.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in civil infrastructure and land development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow directions.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Adapt readily to ongoing changes in a dynamic work environment.
  • Fluent in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
