Audit Manager Associate

Job Summary
This role is focused on conducting internal audits within the North America General Account Group and the Wealth and Asset Management Segment of a leading financial services company, Manulife. The audits cover various asset classes, including equity, fixed income, derivatives, commercial mortgages, timber, and agriculture. The Associate Manager will work under the guidance of Audit Managers to complete audit assignments and deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audit and advisory tasks following department methodology and industry standards.
- Manage assignments within set timelines and report any issues to Audit Manager.
- Document controls, execute audit procedures, and present findings to management.
- Assist in preparing audit reports and following up on open issues.
- Provide training to staff auditors and support business unit management.
Requirements:
- Experience in investments and asset management business.
- Knowledge of various investment areas such as credit risk, private equity investments, etc.
- University degree required, along with relevant designations.
- Financial services experience within audit, risk, or compliance.
- Ability to effectively communicate and analyze situations.
- Customer focus, results-oriented, and good leadership skills.
- Knowledge of audit methodologies, project management, and regulatory requirements.
