Position Overview:

Porte is in search of a skilled Property Care Supervisor to manage the operational and administrative aspects of our residential community. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Residential Property Manager to define daily responsibilities, ensuring all tasks align with our company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with residents and management.
  • Address minor repairs and maintenance issues or coordinate with the maintenance team.
  • Perform janitorial duties for both interior and exterior common areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including snow removal and salting as necessary.
  • Prepare suites for new tenants during turnover periods.
  • Respond to emergencies during and occasionally outside of regular hours.
  • Coordinate with trades and management teams as needed.
  • Supervise approved contractors for repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in showing suites to prospective tenants.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
  • Serve notices and documents in compliance with regulations.
  • Be reachable via mobile phone when not on-site.
  • Process maintenance requests through the designated system.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property care or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of building management and maintenance practices.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficient in computer use, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with residential tenancy regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Handyman skills are a plus.
  • Physical capability to meet routine demands.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
