About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Level Designer to join our team at Sony PlayStation. As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional game environments that transport players to new and exciting worlds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build game levels that are engaging, immersive, and challenging.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the design vision is realized.
  • Assess gameplay, navigation, and flow to ensure a memorable player experience.
  • Identify and address potential risks, dependencies, and constraints related to level design.
  • Review work with peers, solicit and provide constructive feedback in a collaborative mindset.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in level design.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role.
  • Shipped at least one AAA console title.
  • Strong interest in Multiplayer/Live Service games.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Knowledge of Unreal level editing tools and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools.
