We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at A.S.A Meat & West Indian Grocery Inc. as a key member of our retail team.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
- Customer Service: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Meat Processing: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, adhering to company standards and quality control measures.
- Meat Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Meat Handling: Remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, and cut poultry into parts, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Meat Pricing: Price meat products accurately and efficiently, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Customer Interaction: Sell meats to customers, providing product knowledge and recommendations to enhance customer experience.
- Meat Cutting and Preparation: Cut fish into steaks and fillets, grind meats, and train meat cutters, ensuring a high level of skill and expertise within the team.
- Display and Merchandising: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, maintaining a visually appealing and attractive store environment.
- Meat Shaping and Trimming: Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood, adhering to company standards and quality control measures.

Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
