Position Overview

The Culinary Support Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen environment at Palladium Family Restaurant. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to ensuring a smooth workflow in food preparation and service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, mats, and waste disposal units.
  • Efficiently operate dishwashing machines to ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Hand wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items as needed.
  • Clean and scour pots and pans to maintain kitchen standards.
  • Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
  • Stock and maintain refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients.
  • Utilize manual and electrical kitchen appliances for food preparation tasks.
  • Ensure the kitchen area, including work surfaces and storage spaces, is kept clean and sanitized.
  • Handle and store cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
  • Receive and organize supplies in appropriate storage areas.
  • Manage kitchen waste by removing garbage and trash regularly.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are ready for use.
  • Perform floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting as required.
