Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Manager I to join our team at Aramark Canada. As a key member of our food service operations, you will be responsible for planning and executing food production according to our standardized procedures and ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menu plans, prepare orders, and oversee food production procedures to meet client and account manager requirements.
- Lead the food production team in the kitchen, ensuring standardized production flow and focusing on food safety and quality issues.
- Manage food inventory, assist with cost control, and implement waste reduction strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and promote new menus and dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Train and develop team members through ARAMARK's Job Skill Training (JST) and Job Skill Review (JSR) programs.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, and establish strong relationships with clients to meet or exceed their expectations.
- Manage cook staffing, talent building, and performance appraisal of subordinates.
- Technical Secondary School diploma or higher, with a major in Cooking or a related field.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience, preferably in a five-star hotel or office building for group meals.
- Master's degree in Chinese and Western cuisine, as well as various other cuisines.
- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic English language skills.
- Strong customer service orientation, teamwork spirit, and ability to work under pressure.
