Position Summary

The Early Childhood Educator I plays a vital role in supporting educational activities, meal preparation, cleanliness, and laundry tasks.

Reporting to the Program Supervisor at the Child Care Centre, the key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with children in structured routine activities and guiding appropriate behavior.
  • Assisting the Child Care Cook with cleaning and laundry responsibilities.
  • Ensuring the center is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Communicating effectively with staff and parents.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualifications.
  • Familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act.
  • Proven ability to connect and collaborate with individuals.
