Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Layout Artist to translate storyboards and sketches into 3D sequences of shots. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of camera composition, cinematographic principles, and applicable software packages, including Maya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate storyboards and sketches into 3D sequences of shots
- Determine camera composition, angles, and movement
- Establish set and background geometry
- Create basic blocking for all characters and props
- Collaborate with production, supervisors, and team members to problem-solve and share information
Requirements:
- 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate in a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in layout or a related field
- Strong knowledge of camera composition, cinematographic principles, and applicable software packages
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Competitive salary range: $26.44-$36.32/hr (Associate) or $32.02-$43.99/hr (Intermediate)
