Job Summary

The Registered Nurse - Home Care Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the comfort of clients' homes. This role requires a compassionate and caring individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care and address all client needs.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow infection control protocols and Universal Precautions to maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients.
Requirements
  • Current certificate of competence and good standing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certification in CPR.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse client populations.
