Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at Eagle Family Dentistry. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and provide exceptional patient care
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient use of our dental team's time
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a secure and organized filing system, both physical and electronic
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure our practice runs smoothly
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to optimize our workflow
  • Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
