Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Team Leader at WJS Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Disability Services program, ensuring the highest level of support and care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of support staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent client outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans, working closely with clients and their families to achieve their goals.
  • Coordinate and manage daily program operations, including staffing, facilities, and equipment.
  • Review and approve daily log notes, incident reports, and payroll documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in staff discipline and performance improvement plans, working collaboratively with the Program Director.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program goals and objectives, aligning with WJS Canada's mission and values.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with individuals with high behaviors, acquired brain injury, or other complex needs.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Diploma in Disabilities Studies, Social Work, Human Services, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, acceptable driver's abstract, and reliable vehicle.
  • Experience writing and implementing program plans and goals is an asset.
