We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer II to join our Boundary frontend engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and implementing core features while ensuring the scalability and stability of our product.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Guide the technical approach and architecture of our user interfaces, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Feature Development: Develop, advocate for, and support new and existing features for our product, working closely with cross-functional teams to establish design and product goals.
- Open Source Contribution: Contribute to our growing open source community, collaborating with community members and partners to drive innovation and growth.
- Code Review and Mentorship: Provide code review, mentorship, and support to HashiCorp employees, community members, and partners, helping to drive technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Critical Issue Resolution: Work on issues and improvements critical to the success of HashiCorp customers and the broader community, ensuring our product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Experience: 7+ years of production experience working on frontend applications, with a strong understanding of modern web development principles and technologies.
- Skills: Experience with and/or Electron is a plus, as well as a working understanding of privileged access management and tools such as SSH. Familiarity with infrastructure management concepts and experience operating and maintaining production UIs in a public cloud environment are also highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive technical excellence through code review and mentorship.
