We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Regulatory and Quality to lead our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, project management, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality results and meet client engagement objectives
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues to ensure their development and growth
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
- At least 10 years of experience in an actuarial role at a life insurance company, consulting firm, or financial services organization
- Strong technical skills, preferably with ability to direct and review work produced in at least one of: Microsoft Excel with VBA, SQL, or R
- Expertise in financial modeling and leading projects using AXIS software is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a local team and coordinate teams across multiple offices
- Ability to direct work involving technical issues and requiring problem-solving skills
We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $300,000 and an annual short-term incentive bonus. This role is also eligible for benefits and professional development opportunities.
