About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Installation and Repair Specialist to join our team at AP-LINX IT SOLUTIONS INC. as a key member of our telecommunications team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware to ensure seamless communication services.
  • Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Network Testing and Analysis: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults, analyze test results, and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by completing and maintaining test and service reports, determining the nature, cause, and location of trouble, and operating computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
  • Worksite Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and repair.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
