Job Overview

Maple Drywall Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that are essential for maintaining and installing plumbing systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Work Environment

The position may require relocation, with costs covered by the employer. The work setting is physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to establish the layout of plumbing systems, including water supply and waste management.
  • Identify and mark locations for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Prepare openings in walls and floors to accommodate piping and fittings.
  • Assemble pipes using various methods such as couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering and welding techniques.
  • Conduct tests on pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to meet specified dimensions.
Certifications

Applicants must possess a Plumber Trade Certification.
