Position Overview

We are seeking a Functional QA Tester to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, and maintain automated testing assets.
  • Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Apply Test Driven Design (TDD) principles to test and debug automated solutions and custom tools.
  • Support Functional Testing of our Health & Welfare administration platform.
  • Analyze test requirements and design effective test scripts for the assigned product.
  • Execute test cases as part of functional and regression testing.
  • Report and track defects using Quality Center/JIRA and maintain defect reports.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Functional and Manual Testing, including test plan creation and execution.
  • 5+ years of experience with Developer Tools and Automation-ITSM UI Development.
  • 5+ years of experience with ITSM Tool-JavaScript.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Java/JEE and Core Java.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Automation Testing using HP UFT/QTP or Selenium Tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Primary Benefits (OAB) module.
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP Test Automation for Packaged Applications.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Oracle Forms Testing (Oracle ERP – E business suite - Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB) module).
  • Strong understanding of the Quality Assurance testing life cycle, including writing test plans/strategies and executing manual and functional testing.
  • Ability to perform technical and functional analysis of business requirements and translate them into QA test plans.
  • Proficient in database testing with the ability to write SQL scripts.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with knowledge of JIRA, Xray, Confluence, and related tools and processes.
  • Experienced in manual and automated testing of Web Services using API testing tools like SOATest, SOAPUI, or REST.
  • Familiarity with Soap UI, Postman, API, and JSON.
  • Experience in manual testing of Web Services or creating Web Services Automation scripts using Selenium or Sahi.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and unit testing (such as JUnit testing).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, VB Script, or others.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented technology is a plus.
  • Experience with Selenium is a definite asset.
  • Familiarity with browser developer tools to inspect elements.
