About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product to join our team at Paystone. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for our innovative solutions, including NiceJob and DataCandy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision
    • Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to guide product development and decision-making processes.
  • Customer-Centric Approach
    • Advocate for the customer, ensuring their needs and feedback are at the forefront of product development.
    • Conduct and oversee regular market and customer research to inform product improvements and innovations.
  • Leadership and Team Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to product managers in developing and executing their product strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure successful product launches and iterations.
    • Facilitate clear and effective communication across teams to align on product goals and milestones.
  • Performance Metrics and Analysis
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
    • Leverage analytics to identify opportunities for product enhancements and growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that are data-driven and customer-focused.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching and mentoring product managers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nice to have; experience with merger & acquisition as it relates to evaluating synergies and unifying products into a single product.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
