Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at HOPE MECHANICAL & HYDRAULICS LTD. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including hydraulic systems, engines, and transmissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including hydraulic system failures and engine problems.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts, including hydraulic hoses, pumps, and motors.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or related field.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as heavy equipment repair or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, and transmissions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
