About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director of Urban Planning Infrastructure to join our team at FNX-INNOV. As a key member of our infrastructure planning team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise, verify, and prepare plans and estimates for residential and commercial projects, as well as multidisciplinary projects in building, recreational, and sports facilities.
  • Administrative Management: Manage administrative tasks, track budgets, and handle invoicing for projects.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate multidisciplinary projects involving landscape architecture, environment, geotechnics, and other disciplines.
  • Estimate Preparation: Supervise, verify, and prepare technical estimates.
  • Scheduling: Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Design and Calculation: Supervise, validate, and perform design work (AutoCAD/Civil 3D) from preliminary concepts, estimates, and calculations.
  • Stormwater Management: Supervise, validate, and perform stormwater management calculations on PCSWMM according to MELCC, MRC, and municipal criteria.
  • Design Verification: Verify designs and plans to ensure accuracy against the project brief.
  • Site Management: Manage construction sites, including contract clauses, surveillance, and cost tracking.
  • Proposal Preparation: Participate in preparing proposals, service offers, and contracts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent.
  • Professional Membership: Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in project management and design of infrastructure projects.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (asset), PCSWMM, and Microsoft Office.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
