Director of Technical Infrastructure in Urban Planning

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director of Urban Planning to join our team at FNX-INNOV. As a key member of our infrastructure planning team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of plans and proposals for various urban planning projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, verify, and prepare plans and proposals for urban planning projects, including infrastructure development and building projects;
  • Manage administrative tasks related to projects, including budget tracking and invoicing;
  • Oversee multidisciplinary projects involving landscape architecture, environmental studies, and geotechnical engineering;
  • Supervise, verify, and draft technical proposals;
  • Develop project schedules and timelines;
  • Supervise, validate, and perform design work using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software;
  • Supervise, validate, and perform calculations for stormwater retention using PCSWMM software;
  • Verify drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications;
  • Manage construction sites, including contract clauses, surveillance, and cost tracking;
  • Participate in the preparation of bids, proposals, and contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent field;
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
  • 10 years of experience in project management and infrastructure planning;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software;
  • Proficiency in PCSWMM software;
  • Strong writing and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Fluency in French.
