Job Title: Home Support Scheduler

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Relief Part Time Home Support Scheduler at Castlegar and District Community Health Centre in Castlegar, BC.

Job Summary:

The Home Support Scheduler is responsible for developing and coordinating home support service schedules, ensuring that clients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and processing service referrals and changes
  • Reviewing client needs and matching Community Health Workers based on suitability, geographic location, and skills required
  • Scheduling, monitoring, maintaining, and adjusting Community Health Worker's schedules and client appointments
  • Confirming completion of client service to referral clinician
  • Timekeeping and record-keeping
Requirements:
  • A current 5 Minute Typing Test 30 wpm or greater completed within past 24 months from a recognized institution
  • Proof of graduation from a recognized Office Administration Program
  • Two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
