About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Kia of Brockville. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Vehicle Issues: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify problems and perform repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Communicate with Customers: Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance needs to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work with Supervisors: Collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
