We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Floor Manager to join our team at Talize. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire retail floor, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of associates, delegate tasks, and set performance expectations.
- Strategically manage visual merchandising, inventory, and sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Liaise with retail floor supervisors, coordinate staff schedules, and address customer concerns.
- Regularly complete floor walks to determine priorities and delegate tasks to team members.
- Accurately handle all register transactions, including exchanges, refunds, cancellations, and tax exemptions.
- Ensure customer needs are addressed, including answering inquiries, solving complaints, and processing transactions in a timely manner.
- Oversee the register areas and retail floor to ensure they are stocked and merchandise is properly sorted.
- Plan, create, and execute weekly schedules for the retail department.
- Responsible for handling, reconciling, and securing all store funds.
- Accurately and timely complete administrative duties.
- Direct the retail floor team in the preparation and execution of sales days.
- 4+ years of experience working in retail.
- Previous work in a thrift retail environment is considered an asset.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Driver's License and Abstract preferred (not required).
