We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Services Manager to lead our Diploma Programs at Stenberg College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing programs that enhance the student experience, while leading a team of professionals dedicated to student success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Mentor the Student Services Team: Foster a positive, collaborative culture and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Develop and Implement Student Engagement Strategies: Design and implement initiatives to boost student retention, success, and overall experience.
- Provide Professional Development Opportunities: Ensure high-quality service delivery by providing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Collaborate with Faculty and Staff: Work closely with faculty and staff to improve and expand student services, ensuring a seamless student experience.
- Assess Program Effectiveness: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance student services.
- Handle Escalated Student Concerns: Provide support and guidance to students in complex or sensitive situations.
- Oversee Program Schedule Changes: Manage the Student Services budget and ensure effective use of resources.
- Drive Innovation: Improve processes and systems within the Student Services team to enhance student experience.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Field: Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Higher Education Administration.
- 5+ Years of Experience in Student Services: With at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong Understanding of Student Development Theories: Familiarity with best practices in student support services.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with a range of industry partners.
- Demonstrated Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Passion for creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students.
