Job Title: Platform Specialist

Department: Application Engineering

Position Overview: As a Platform Specialist at Squarepoint Capital, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality platform infrastructure using DevOps methodologies. You will work with a diverse group of stakeholders to build and maintain automated platform solutions and services used across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, monitor, and scale platform infrastructure and automate everyday tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
  • Develop and maintain CICD pipelines to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with junior team members to provide mentorship and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Work towards increasing platform stability of critical infrastructure applications.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
  • Deep knowledge of technologies such as Kafka, Consul, and Load-balancing.
  • Proficient in infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible and Terraform.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with security products such as Keycloak and CyberArk.
  • Familiarity with modern software development tooling, including GitLab, Kubernetes, and Hashicorp Products.
  • Experience in software development (Python, Git) and system administration (Bash, Linux, Containerization).
