Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Padgett Business Services. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise accounting staff in duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management
  • Ensure smooth operation of accounting equipment and software
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Co-ordinate and review work assignments
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • QuickBooks experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
