Job Title: Mechanical CAD Operator

Inviro Engineered Systems is seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD Operator to join our team. As a Mechanical CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating and revising production drawings, adhering to company Drafting and Engineering Standards, and maintaining an organized file system for Production Drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop designs using computer-assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software.
  • Create and revise production drawings to meet company standards.
  • Adhere to company Drafting and Engineering Standards to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain an organized file system for Production Drawings to ensure easy access and retrieval.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience drafting mechanical building systems in CAD (HVAC & Plumbing emphasis).
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systems.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, read complex blueprints, piping sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD design software.
  • Experience with Revit MEP is an asset.
  • French communication skills are an asset.
