Role and Responsibilities

As a Technical Requirements Expert at CAE, you will play a key role in ensuring that our training solutions meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in requirements engineering will be instrumental in defining and reviewing project and customer requirements for defense and security training devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and/or review project and customer requirements for defense and security training devices and systems.
  • Ensure that all requirements are clear, complete, verifiable, and achievable.
  • Validate that technical requirements for a training device or system deliver value-added training and meet customers' training objectives.
  • Coordinate and conduct System Requirements Review activities, including allocation of requirements to engineering specialties and documentation of issues resolution.
  • Ensure that requirements-driven risks are well understood and integrated into project planning, monitoring, and controlling activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous process improvement of the CAE requirements management and development process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering, Computer, or Information Sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in aerospace or simulation and training systems design and development.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis and design aspects, particularly of requirements engineering methods and tools.
  • Excellent French and English, spoken & written.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical, planning, organizational, and collaboration skills.
