This position is part of Laurentian Bank
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Retail Services Consultant is responsible for managing and nurturing a portfolio of clients (individuals). The Consultant aims to cultivate client loyalty by offering tailored, high-quality advisory services, aspiring to be their primary financial resource.
Key Responsibilities Formulate sales strategies tailored to individual clients to enhance their loyalty. Engage with clients to assist them in identifying and prioritizing their financial objectives and projects. Assess and analyze clients' financial and investment requirements based on their current financial landscape. Sustain and grow ongoing business relationships with existing clients and prospective clients. Collaborate in the development and preparation of a branch business strategy aligned with established objectives. Stay informed about the Bank's offerings and industry trends or competitive changes. Acquire and apply knowledge of the latest developments in taxation, products, regulations, and compliance. Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or necessary for the role. Required Qualifications Education: A bachelor's degree in administration, finance, or economics Experience: A minimum of two years in the banking or finance sector Any other relevant combination of education and experience Certification as a Dealing Representative of a Mutual Fund Dealer/Mutual Fund Representative/Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) Comprehensive understanding of financial products and services Proficient sales and negotiation abilities
