Key Responsibilities
• Provide access control and monitor patient safety in hospitals, private clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls for assistance, and investigate and report any irregularities.
• Conduct patrols to identify and mitigate risks, and maintain a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide excellent customer service and support, and promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and diversity.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Hold a valid AB Security license or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven de-escalation skills.
• Be calm under pressure, confident in problem-solving abilities, and able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
